He loses a few of these games and he's under pressure. BBC was full of comments from fans the other night saying he should be sacked and that was just after he named the team. Imagine if they lost the game which was against the number 1 team in the world.
I'm no fan of Southgate but he's done a good job and probably as good as anyone else could have done. Yet it shows the general stupidity of some fans that they are calling for his head. A couple of bad Nations League results and the media are on his case as well.
If there wasn't stupid pressure on him to get results, he might be a bit more likely to rest key players.
