Guglielmo Vicario

Rumours he’s having hernia surgery?
not a rumour - from the beeb

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario will undergo surgery next week on a hernia.

In a statement, the club said: "The minor procedure for the Italy international goalkeeper has been timed to have as minimal impact on our season as possible.

"Guglielmo will commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately, and it is hoped that he could return to action within the next month."

Vicario will be available for selection for Spurs' match against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Take the positive and go forth. Two great saves after the free-kick. Onwards!
His shot-stopping abilities don’t get nearly enough credit. His save from the deflected shot on Wednesday night was sensational

If we’re going to critique his game, then you have to consider the positives along with the negatives, and he is well above-average in this regard.

Blimey. Wonder if this effecting his kicking, as he seemed in pain a few times (and his kicks seemed shorter sometimes).

Get well Vicario.

And can we loan an emergency keeper based on the fact are others are no good?

If not, then come on Kinsky!!!

I do agree, some of the flack he gets from some fans is well over the top IMO. I have watched all of our keepers since Bill Brown and they have all made mistakes at times. The best was Jennings but i even saw him make a couple.

Thankfully his reactions remain top notch but whether that compensates for being a vampire who's unable to kick the ball accurately is questionable… hopefully we avoid the drop and upgrade this summer 🤞

......and so, perhaps he was in agony.

And clearly been struggling for months, which begs the question why didn’t our transfer committee act in January when it’s been quite obvious from Kinsky’s handful of appearances that his shot stopping is far from being at the level required for a PL keeper and he needs to build upon those 19 games for Prague in Czech top flight before he can be relied upon.

I wonder if this is part of the reason why Kinsky was brought in to the line up with AM? Seemed mad to me to make such a change considering the occasion
