How many are genuine competition to Vic that would actually leave their starting spot to get 5 games a season at Spurs?
- Trafford played 130 times in last 3 seasons
- Sam Johnstone is 31 year old journeyman, doesn't really fit the profile
- Jack Butland, another 31 year old journeyman that hasn't had a steady role in 4 years prior to Scotland (where Joe looks ok)
- Rushworth is interesting (can't say I've ever seen him) profile but type of "no name" signing people will say is just the club being cheap.
Club took a risk, prioritized other positions, sometimes it happens ..

It wasn’t a great list but I only named the English ones as I was restricted due to squad make up.
