Hahaha, nothing would surprise me they need another squad player they only have 3,576,589 currently
 
£20m doesn't feel like too much of a risk, still young and would have plenty of sell on value if he doesn't turn out as hoped. Heck even Everton signed a Portugese Under 21 international for £15m yesterday who doesn't look half as good as Orban.
 
Does he look like he could push Richalison for a starting spot?
Or is he another one that will need a season or 2 to develop.

Tried to look at clips of Veliz and Orban.
Both look like they have good movement, but goalkeeping wasn't good at all. I'm sure some keepers dives out of the way!

Is he big enough to play in the centre, or would he more likely to be employed wide?
 
Lots mentioning worth a punt at £20m. Didn’t we just tick that box with Veliz? And does that mean Richy locked in first choice?

I thought may try for someone higher profile (I have no idea who).

6'0-6'4" usually

Defoe always played in a 4-4-2, playing off a CF (Kanoute etc.), never as a lone forward. Messi played in a league that didn't really do crosses.

In terms of CFs, Richarlison has probably one of the top 10 profiles in the world. It's arguably goes Mbappe, Harland, Benzema, Kane, Lewandowski, Richarlison. He's Brazil's unrivalled starter there.

Gabriel Jesus, Calum Wilson, Ivan Toney and Ollie Watkins all say hi. They're all under 6 foot.

Don't care about profiles, do they score enough goals is all that matters.

You are forgetting Osimhen and Vlahovic. I wouldn't pick Richarlison ahead of Osimhen as a CF. Hopefully Richarlison shows the reason why he is rated this season.

Ability/potential maybe, but not profile (which the original comment was about). Being Brazil's #9 is huge
