The Spanish media is ridiculous
Wales forward Gareth Bale, 31, is keen on a swansong season at Real Madrid following his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur. (AS)
No neccesarily ridiculous. If he eventually finds fitness here and Zidane is gone, could happen.
The idea that he would be 'keen' on going back to Spain where Real fans, and the media which dictates their views, don't like him is a bit absurd in my view
He knows how fickle they can be. He'll still want to go back - once ZZ is out of the way.The idea that he would be 'keen' on going back to Spain where Real fans, and the media which dictates their views, don't like him is a bit absurd in my view
Think you're looking for the Dele Alli threadNew 9 sub rule will mean he will be on the bench at least
Well maybe...Think you're looking for the Dele Alli thread
Any player pushing on would be very helpful. Bale getting back to a very high level could be immense for us.Can’t stress enough how badly we need him back match fit and healthy. Bergwijn for all his hard work and discipline kills attacks, doesn’t create, doesn’t score enough and offers little going forward. Moura often plays well against the big teams but isn’t consistent. Lamela can’t stay fit and doesn’t hurt teams enough when he does play. All of them are very good options off the bench but not good enough to be starters IMO. Bale even half as good as he was during his last season with us could be the difference to us winning a trophy or not.
Hence why the experts said he wouldn’t be ready until the new yearHe should definitely be doing more but I'd like to see him start a league game to build up some proper fitness, on the flipside he's barely played for a year.
Not sure we can afford to play any PL game with 10 men....He should definitely be doing more but I'd like to see him start a league game to build up some proper fitness, on the flipside he's barely played for a year.
