Unless he signs a new contract this summer, it's assured he'll be gone at the end of 2012-2013, since he'll only have two years left on his contract and we won't want to lose him on a free/for a low fee. We'll know it's coming. Unlike in Modric's case, where he tried to fudge us over one year into a SIX-year deal.
