footballers are really reluctant to ask for transfer requests - it is a last minute thing - as soon as you hand in a transfer request then you void allot of your existing contract and don't get a payout when you are sold. there is a section in the secret footballer about this - which is why you rarely see the players officially hand in transfer requests - they just get their agent to spout a load of crap in the press. I don't think we will hear much from Bale to be honest.
Whatever happens, the saddest and most sordid bit of this latest escalation has been the fact that Gareth Bale is no longer the Bale we all 'knew' in a wider sense.
His 'innocence' so-to-speak has been eroded over the summer by Zidane and those arseholes.
He is now firmly caught up in the money-spinning eye-popping world of superstar footballer might and power.
Whereas he once almost blushed when compared to the Ronaldos and Messis of this world, he now genuinely believes it is his heir and right.
It was inevitable I suppose. No lad stays a 'lad' when blessed with that talent and unremitting spotlight, but I cannot help feel sorry for the fact that his head has forever been turned and we will never quite see as happy or a chipper a Bale in our shirt again, even if he is made to stay one more season.
I suppose any human being would crack under that sort of pressure...
you are funny
Modric's head was influenced by his mafioso agents, and now Bale has been turned by Zidane and Real:lol:
My prediction is City to win it by a margin, us to pip Chelsea to 2nd, and Arsenal and United to battle it out for 4th. Ironically (as it was always said about Arsenal), I think that battle will be determined by how fit RvP manages to stay.
Eh. Ideally, some time in the next couple of weeks, the following announcement (or a terser version of it) will appear on the OS, out of the blue, completely unexpected by anyone.
"The club is delighted to announce that Tottenham Hotspur player Gareth Bale has agreed a one year extension on his contract. The deal will now see his contract run until 2017. Since joining in 2007, Gareth has played 203 games and scored 55 goals for the club, becoming one of our most integral players. Speaking about the deal, Daniel Levy commented "We're pleased to have secured the future of of of our best players, and as a fan, I'm looking forward to seeing Gareth continue to dazzle at this club." Bale himself stated "I'm really happy to have committed my immediate future to Spurs. They valued me extremely highly and now it's on to doing the work on the pitch so I can repay that faith. I'm looking forward to the new season."
Additionally, the Club would like to announce that it has instituted legal proceedings against Real Madrid Club de Futbol, and the news organization Marca, published by Unidad Editorial. Pending a decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on the viability of the case under the breach of contract regulations introduced by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), we cannot comment further at this time.
This also concludes our technical partnership with Real Madrid Club De Futbol."
One can dream, right?
Have you been on the glue again ???

careful now....the anti bullying police will be all over your ass.
Ah i see it's already been done
Saying someone is on drugs is out of order and some might actually consider it bullying, uncalled for.
Yep im afraid in this new world we live in, where opinons or even banter are not allowed in case of offending the liberal elite, so to take this to its natural conclusion what marky did say was infact offensive to anyone struggling with a form of addiction.
But we are lucky to have such excellent mods on this board and i trust them to deal with it from here. To talk anymore about the subject would be to make the sitaution worse and that is also against the rules. But thank you Kingdawson for bringing to my attention, as a new convert to the liberal agenda of eradicating free thought i have made a complaint about said post.
You're a funny guy:lol:
