Why do we still have a relationship with this club?
You could always go and support Arsenal
I literally have no idea why Levy or AVB or anyone related to Spurs has turned round to the press and said "Don't listen to Marca, they make up a bunch of brick and try to convince everyone its true". It's annoying how Marca make something up then every newspaper in england treats it as gospel and churns out the same gonads.
Any "special" relationship with RM should be swiftly brought to an end after this.
Atrocious behaviour, and if anyone else tried it, I'm sure questions would be asked.

Why can't questions be asked? If these stories are true, then RM are guilty of tapping up and potentially unsettling the player.
My only concern with the current situation is that we might have to sell Bale to fund our recent imports, as DL is often insistent that managers have to balance the books?
Complete nonsense pedalled as reality...any news story that needs to lead, or use the following words 'sources report' should lead with the following words....'once upon a time in a Footballing Galaxy Far Far Away'
I'd rather we just keep Bale than have to balance the books to pay for the other signings
You and me both, but DL has 'previous', doesn't he?
i wouldn't say he has 'previous' in the instance you quoted. only 3 outgoing transfers spring to mind where players left against our wishes - Carrick, Berbatov and Modric and i don't think any were sold in order to balance the books or to pay for other signings
edit : Keane as well i guess.
Does tapping up rules only apply in England ??
I genuinely do not know the answer to this question, but when was the last time we overspent on transfers (in a given financial year)? I just seem to remember that we made a net profit on most of these transfers?
