Good news if true. Should make sure we get proper money for him when we sell him. Whenever that is.
I'm guessing it would be in the region of 40m+ (GBP)

If Bale stays - and performs AGAIN the way he has, this would mean maybe buying better players to fulfil his potential, then Bale would easily be worth the amount Ronaldo was worth
Then again if we also qualify for the CL and he showcases his talents even further, then the sky is the fudgein limit.
HOWEVER
I dont give a brick what amount we are offered unless the guy truly wants to leave then id reject every offer.
Ronaldo's transfer to Real Madrid was £82.5m in 2009. I would not take anything less than £75m and I think Levy knows it too.

Zidane has already said we can name our price
don't think he's quite THAT valuable.
60 million quid seems about right if we do want to sell him. Depends on the years left on his contract, though. This summer, there'll be three left, which still works in our favor. hence, 60 million. Next summer, it'll be two, so 35-40 million would be about the maximum we could get. The year after that, 20 million.
If United, City or Chelsea come knocking, 100 million, no negotiation.
Considering Madrid paid 55m for Kaka, Bale is worth a lot more than 60m.
