Fraser Forster

I do think it is these incidences that show that our club is in a different place now. Venom, on crutches, went immediately to Forster after the final whistle whilst 18 year old Gray apologised for putting him under pressure. I'm sure Forster and Ange have had private words and our manager has simplified things for him in future games.

The squad culture looks good from our outside-in view. I never got that impression since Poch.
 
No blame to FF today but that 2nd Diaz goal is unacceptable. Just hung a leg out and no attempt to use his hands.

Allison made the same save 5 mins later from Johnson and I’ve just seen Kepa make an even better save from that angle from Hojlund.

Suspect with his age and frame he’s not getting down but at least try.

That Kepa is an interesting keeper. Didn't he have a world record transfer against his name at some point, or did I imagine that?

What's interesting about him is that he seems brilliant with his feet and a great shot stopper, but I'm less sure on things like the high ball. Seems well suited to Iraola's system to be fair.

Someone posted earlier that Bournemouth didn't need to revert to hoofing it upfield when they were 3-0 up, whereas people like me were saying Forster should have done exactly that on Thursday. I'm hopeful Josh Keeley has some of the other attributes. He definitely had a fantastic period in our U21's playing good football with his defenders.

Keeley is very good at ball playing
He is great all round
Only concern may be his lack of height
 
I don't think he was expecting to play as much this season as he has. How much longer is Vicario out for? Unless we get another keeper in, he is all we got. Although I expect Ange to give another keeper a go during the Tamworth match if Vicario isn't back by then.
