Football Trivia Question of the Day

Andorra, Liechstenstein, Luxembourg, Vatican City, Monaco, San Marino, Kosovo, Montenegro?

Andorra, Liechstenstein, Luxembourg, Vatican City, Monaco, San Marino, Kosovo, Montenegro?

Vatican City, Monaco & Kosovo aren't UEFA members.

And there have been two players from Montenegro - (Stefan Savić, Emirates Marketing Project & Simon Vukčević, Blackburn Rovers)

So 4 correct.

And 5 more to get...

Quite positive one of the two missing will be Kazakhstan...they joined UEFA not so long ago.

*edit* Second guess is Azerbaijan (just found a list of UEFA members).

When you say appeared in the Premier League I assume you mean played a game. I can't remember if Nick Papavassiliou got a game for Saudi Sportswashing Machine or not, in which case would Cyprus be an answer?

He made his debut against us, something like Saudi Sportswashing Machine first game back in the premier league :)

I guess there should have more than one Cypriot in the premier league anyway.

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan are both correct.

There have been two players from Cyprus - Alexis Nicolas (Chelsea) & Nicos Papavasiliou (Saudi Sportswashing Machine).

To recap on the 9 nations: Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova and San Marino.

Which club holds the record for the most consecutive wins in a European Domestic League?

Think Celtic came close to breaking it a few seasons back. The record should be Benfica's, surprisingly not Steaua or some Eastern Europe military clubs.

Isn't there some Armenian side or something that's won it 13 times in a row and counting?
