I was at Liverpool game other day and guess what, Liverpool fans got booted out in North Upper where i sit. The reason for the decision was financial and how the club can eek more money from the fans.

I doubt there is much if any cash incentive for doing it. A couple of quid transaction fee on a few thousand seats? Barely worth the effort.

It was working fine beforehand but last season there was a lot of noise from the trust about away fans and other ticketing issues and this was one of the clubs direct responses to those complaints.

Away fans will always find a way in - not sure what point you were trying to make there.

So, I purchased my daughter the Season Ticket when offered, and as she's under 14 was told that she'd need to be seated with an adult, which obviously have no issue with. I contacted the club to let them know that my wife and son (or I) would be happy to relocate if necessary. This was all done in mid-November, and got told by someone in early December we'd have details of the tickets ASAP.

Today, I have received an email to say they're unable to process any seat relocation at this time, and therefore they've now cancelled the Part-Season Ticket.

I've called the ticket office and explained that we were happy to relocate the other seats if necessary, and that we were aware that some of the seats near us aren't ST holders, and that we even know other existing ST holders who sit near us who would likely be happy to relocate so that we can be sat together. The person at the TO, just said "No, can't do anything."
