Fixture & Ticket News 2021/22

I don't think the club have much choice or leverage around the TV picks and timings, do they? I can't for a moment believe the club wants this.
For £100k they could say no, enough is enough
Remember all we got rammed down our throats was football is all about the fans

There’s some mitigation regarding the nature of the fixtures; I missed all of them for the following reasons:
Chelsea semi - Was actually never going as after a few bad experiences I have banned myself from semi finals - either a painful defeat or a victory that counts for very little unless you win the final. Factor in it’s a second leg and after waiting we were 2-0 that’s a decent turnout!
Morecambe - I was hoping for a draw like this as it creates an opportunity to take kids and is as close as you can get to guaranteeing a win and less toxic environment! Sunday ko though so decided against it.
Liverpool. Would never have missed this, Covid paranoia for me as didn’t want to risk a Christmas in isolation
West Ham - very close to Christmas and an increased number of knuckle draggers in attendance!
Palace - first time ever missed a home Boxing Day, (despite freeing the day up for it) having moved out of London had transport issues and couldn’t find anyone to go with

I think that the timing and Covid issues contribute, but it’s also a case that I think there’s a general apathy as tickets are more readily available, perhaps not quite as easily transferable unofficially as before but I expect it to pick up. I have to manage a second ST and I have to say now the new stadium bounce has gone I’m finding it much harder to find people to go with, which in turn impacts my desire as a making it a day / night out with mates is a big part of why I go.

It’s no bad thing if this is also happening due to a lack of enjoyment if the current ‘product’ being served up though, imo.

I’m comparison, West Ham are probably at the peak of their attraction to fans and neutrals for a very long time, I think they practically give tickets away too!

If anyone can't make the Arsenal game Sunday I'm after 2 (or 3) tickets together for a few people who don't get to go very often!

The difference though is for morecombe it was £40 or £50 for a family ticket …
The cat C would be two adults at £50 each and 2 kids at £25 each …
Big jump when we our kids may not actually care about being there
Absolutely spot on Bedford. Its a faff to get there from Portsmouth and he will be ok for 40 or so minutes then will start getting bored. I will spend my time fielding questions rather than watching the match. Cup matches againt lower league is a perfect opportunity to take him 2/3 times a season. We went to one Europa League game an its too late for him, usually in bed by 7.

additionally, i cant remember the last afternoon kick off we had for a cat C game.

What's the chances of two tickets for the f a cup game against Brighton?
Might try and make a dash for it, the ko time is a good one for me.

So many non football achievements can we ask them to inscribe them on trophies

Brighton cup question - any idea when we’ll be able to transfer the ticket? I want to be able to to the guy I sit next to who wants to take his wife.
