Yep, World Police. Can someone answer me this - how is it the FBI are involved? This isn't one of those Team America, America **** yeah, moments is it?
platini's words are fascinating, he's skating on the razors edge himself, all his talk about the Russian World Cup could come back and bite him on the ass if they have a proper look at 2022 as well
it does seem a little different this time, hopefully the whole thing will come crashing down and we can start again

This.It certainly is, and as much as I despise the way America has always gone about doing it, I must admit I'm quite enjoying this.
yep i'm definitely not going.I hope you're mob follow through with a boycott of the 2018 World Cup if Bladder gets in. Something has to be done.

I don't think it matters whether he wins or not, as odious as that man is a few personnel changes here and there will not be enough, we don't need to reform FIFA, we need to replace it
What makes you think those working for the sponsors are clean?
Probably not in their interests to blow this up any bigger than it already is.
They're not, which is why they will just say how appalled they are of recent events... then carry on as normal

Great point.I'd go further and say a Blatter victory is the only chance of reform when he is eventually brought down. If he loses then the Jordanian Prince can say he is going to reform FIFA and he will be give a chance, the pressure will be off to some extent, at least until the next round of FBI charges. I doubt he can introduce meaningful reform even if he wanted too and I can't see him being tough on Qatar.
With Blatter the pressure will remain. More other FAs, leagues and governments will join the opposition to Blatter. Concerns about the Qatar world cup will also mount. When Blatter goes it needs to be in a revolution, not a vote by the recipients of years of corrupt practices.
133-73 in favour of Blatter. Since he didn't get 2/3 of the vote, a second round will be held where simple majority wins.
I'm surprised UEFA haven't thrown their weight around more. If they backed out of FIFA - the World Cup becomes worthless.
