Fabrice Muamba

its up to them if they want to concede the tie or not. we just get on it with whatever's handed down to us.

on a separate note, anyone considered the effect on our players?

defoe looked for the worse, perhaps due to his personal encounter not too long ago.
VDV has been vocal, i think he's handling it well.
BAE and Bale just kept watching on.... not sure what's running throught their minds, and if it would affect their football.

Why would they concede it certainly wouldn't be what Muamba would want i'm sure, the way we are playing they have a good chance to go through and Muamba may be able to watch the next game if they progress.

Id be amazed if thry just let us go through, i wouldnt like it at all.

It'd be a hollow victory.

Wont happen.

Blimey Man U fulfilled their fixtures the season Munich happened, even after losing 10 of their players (8 dead, badly 2 injured) and their manager (hospitalised).

I wish people would stop giving us links to these sorts of fools (on Twitter, etc) - makes my blood boil reading their bile - in reality how many billion people have access to the internet? It makes insignificant people become significant when they really do not deserve to be.

Hmm, I actually appreciate what the likes of Stan Collymore are doing, publicising these idiots. The reason being, that if there's a huge number of people who have seen these racist, insensitive sentiments, then the police are more likely to get involved.

Bolton experienced a similar medical trauma in 2004 when then-Senegal striker Khalilou Fadiga collapsed on the pitch before a League Cup game, also against Tottenham.

He returned to training 11 days after undergoing surgery to treat a heart problem by implanting an automatic defibrillator and later returned to action.

Just realised we had a similiar incident at WHL before. But just can't remember how was our reaction then, maybe due to the fact it was a League Cup match. But the way they report about it, mentioning "also against Tottenham", makes it look as if we are jinxed or something !

I can't blame them for wanting to pull out, because they probably didn't care about it anyway, and now after this I don't think they'd be able to return. I don't think we should complain, and if they do go through with this decision then there will obviously be something in the semi-final at Wembley (such as a minute's applause or something)

It may not be the fairest way through, but at the end of the day, the cup still goes on, and we have to continue to fight.
