Xhaka has leadership qualities but is prone to acts of sheer stupidity and thuggery. Overall think I'd have been happy to get rid if i was one of them.

Only if the alternatives are better. They seem to have swapped him + £100m for an almost like for like player.

A good cause but all a bit Alan Partridge.

Try to put yourself in the mind of a kid who's been dragged into some kind of gang culture. They have chosen to stab someone, whether driven by profit, rage, peer pressure, or simply instructed to.

At what point do they stop and tell themselves "Hang on a minute. I was going to stab that poor kid but Ben White said not to. Come to think of it, I really like the colour permatan-orange, maybe I shouldn't do this"

I think the point is, he now wants to stab Ben White rather than the poor kid.
