I think I'm expecting to see...

PL - we will be "all in" to finish as high as possible. Frank will be having an assault on finishing 5th and grabbing the last CL place. It will be tough and the odds will be slightly stacked against him. I'm thinking more 6th or 7th but have some optimism that we might find the consistency to make 5th possible. Most likely, the consistency will come a little too late to make it happen and I'm not yet confident we will see the injury problems normalise.

CL - you can see from the loans out of the U21s that we're not going for a deep squad in the CL. It will be a light squad that will be told to give it the best shot and high praise will be given if we make the knockouts. We probably won't and this will create end of season capacity to focus on the league when other big clubs are still in UEFA comps. I think we may see our stronger line-ups in the league versus the CL.

FA / League Cup - with all the U21s heading out on loan, I think the league cup will be manned by the 1st team squad. Based on the opposition, Frank will select his teams accordingly. I think we will give these 2 cups priority alongside the league. Be great to make a final, and even do what Palace and Saudi Sportswashing Machine achieved last season. They are no better than us.

I thought you were 'genuinely surprised of how people were supportive of the club'?

I'm genuinely surprised you're remaining supportive of the club given what you've said.

After basking this summer in the misery of winning a European trophy...I'm in, as always.
by supportive of the club i mean Levy and the (mis)management of us.

How's our 'gamechanging' new stadium working out for us? funnily enough finding the funds to build a hotel is easy but to sign players it's an issue.

genuinely surprised with how people are supportive of the Club and what they've been doing. Off the back of the europa win and returning to CL, we've made one perm signing in the summer window. Club finished 17th with absolute mediocrity thoughout.

We have less players on 100k a week than Fulham, Palace and West Ham whilst paying the highest prices in the league. Club's being run for profit and everyone sits their happy clapping it.

It's true what the old saying says [It is a wretched taste to be gratified with mediocrity when the excellent lies before us.]
Yeah I do not really get the optimistic assessments of our squad and set-up. I went for top 10 being a magnificent achievement. Getting bit of pelters for it but Liverpool, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Villa pretty much nailed on for top half which only leaves 4 places to get into there and if people think we are comfortably clear of Man Utd, Brighton, Palace, Forest and co then I think they might be in for a rude awakening.....

With respect, you sound like a Twitter megaphone, so it's best I leave it there.
Why? I'm literally just quoting what our chairman described our new stadium would do for the club, along with "every penny is reinvested into the club" etc.

According to Deloitte's Annual PL review, we had 43% Wages to Revenue ratio, the lowest in the league which for that season was on par with Luton Town. Around 10% or lower than any of our meaningful big 6 rivals. Why are you OK with that, and why am i a twitter megaphone for pointing it out?

I think what might be the best result for us all round is a high enough finish to be seen as respectable and progressive and good enough to achieve a EL place.
That trophy is good target for a manager progressing in their second season. Extra games, lesser opposition and winnable.
We are still a young team, let's not forget.

4th highest spenders on transfers since the stadium has opened, how does that equate to an issue finding funds to sign players?

We've made 5 permanent signings. How's the club being run for profit? Nothing is taken out of the club.

imagine seeing that we have the same wages to revenue ratio as Luton Town, and not only being happy with it, but actively supporting it.
Please highlight where I stated that I'm happy with, and how I'm actively supporting, our wages to revenue ratio? Maybe stick to the points being made and stop the straw man fallacy.

And what's the problem with being at the same ratio as a smaller club? You do realise how ratio's work?

There’s things I’m unhappy with, but what’s the alternative? I’m in for life, when things are great and even more when things are brick.
