ENIC

I'm very happy to stick with Viv and Charlie. I was hoping Levy's son would also 'inherit' and we would keep trucking along like we are.

The club has manouvered itself into such a superb position, we are really well poised to keep climbing the league with ~2 or 3 proper purchases per year.
perhaps this IS viv and charlie's doing

In terms of games in the US or elsewhere. With global money comes global demands. Think it's inevitable just for the sake of the money.

I’ve been to loads of the NFL games in London.

It’s a good thing.

I wouldn’t bother if they were just friendly or exhibition games.

If we want the TV money to stay high, it’s part of it.

...However, the club have now released an official statement which reads: "The Board of Tottenham Hotspur Limited is aware of recent media speculation and confirms that its majority shareholder, ENIC Sports & Developments Holdings Ltd has received, and unequivocally rejected, an informal expression of interest in relation to a proposal to acquire the entire issued, and to be issued, share capital of the Club from a consortium led by Mr Brooklyn Earick.
"The board of the Club and ENIC reconfirm that Tottenham Hotspur is not for sale and ENIC is not looking to sell its stake in the club."

The rules state that the consortium is now required, by not later than 5pm on October 24, to either announce a firm intention to make an offer for Spurs or announce that it does not intend to do so. That deadline can be extended with the consent of the panel on takeovers and mergers.

IF the rejected bid is £4.5B, what on earth is the number that buys the club??

There's been no confirmation of a figure, just the media chatter. But even within that, the offer to buy the club was only (only!) £3.3billion with rumour of another £1.2b then being made available for use by the club afterwards.

what happened to the whole levy-out group?
will they transform into an enic-out group so they can keep on doing what they love to do?

i suppose they have no reason yet, maybe they're watching what happens in the winter window

They are “taking a break” from their “usual activity”.
