That looks the income stream least developed...so if we want more money coming in we explore that avenue.

As I think Raziel was saying, and I agree, we are the step below top table, so only excellent players that come thru will be wanted by the elite. We have had a few of them (but of course, we can then also be hit with the 'selling club' stick).
Also players that we have purchased and reached our level BUT then don't work out are hard to shift, probably being paid more than at most clubs, don't want to move down but zero chance of moving up .Sideways perhaps??

This is probably close to our current approach and although I think this is the healthiest/exciting approach, in truth it's partly driven because of the diminished cash flow and massive transfer debt. We couldn't (can't) keep spending at our current rate, certainly if success wasn't coming off the back of it.

We know what’s killed us …. Buying talent with weak mindsets for huge sums
We are now (IMO and clearly from the outside) signing players who seem to have the right mentality (in the younger players) and older players we can make money on
We failed miserably with the child Gil but every other player signed recently apart from Richy we wouldn’t lose money on IMO. Maybe Bissouma because of his contract
Now the club has to be smarter and accept selling as part of the process. Fortunately because were brick it will be more acceptable.
I know in the past we could have sold Dier, dele, Toby, and many others for huge fees, but didn’t and lost out but our own position was very different then
This summer I fully expect Hojberg (deal done), Gil, Veliz, Bissouma, Solomon, Richy and ideally Romero (still can’t see a buyer paying the fee we would want). Thats potentially a £100m plus income which is what we need to carry in investing

Agreed....we're migrating onto the new plan (one we should have stuck with all along).

I'm not too fussed about the selling thing, most clubs (even the best) do it...you just need to have succession planning nailed.

I think we are going in the right direction.... although I was just thinking £170m for Dom BJ and Richie....scary.

So a Spurs fan who attends infrequently is the wrong type of supporter? Right oh. They should explain that in the questionnaire and publish it widely on their X, Insta, accounts etc. I am sure all our overseas fans who are going to the effort of making ENIC out banners and posting them on SM will agree. Or the many member fans who try to get tickets but are only successful occasionally.
Or is it just a tortuous way of wanting to say “Korean” fans but knowing they can’t?

I think their prices reflected the market and are the rates you pay
They were the best players at their clubs at the time we brought them (arguably)

What would be great was if the club banned people from selling their tickets too often
I know loads near us who have barely been all season and are now crowing at their loyalty points for the final if we make it
They should do something if you don’t go to over a high % you lose the respective loyalty points for the ones you have missed or sold on

After a max number of sold on games, you should simply not get loyalty points.

There are time/scenarios where someone may take a job or have a personal change that means they may for a year or two not be able to attend as regularly and they want to retain the season ticket, fine, but the reward should not be the same.

Agree. But considering our striker situation I wouldn't mind taking a closer look at Veliz who I thought looked to have potential....

I wonder if any of these "right types" of supporter have stopped to consider the increase in revenue (and therefore chances of success) that the increased corporate sales and club shop spend from infrequent supporters has created at the new stadium.

Liking comfortable seats and good food (and no queues) doesn't make one any less of a supporter. And I have nothing but admiration for those who travel halfway across the world for a 90 min glimpse of the brick show we're currently serving up.

You don't get loyalty points for cup games if you sell them on the exchange.

I pity the 'right type of supporter' who wants to be cooped up with just moaning old gammons and their coked up sons. I cant imagine their fear of the female, the colourful and the vibrant. It must be what the 1950s were like
