This depends on the denomination, many do indeed believe the Bible is the word of GHod delivered to men and transcribed.

The point was you're painting everyone with a very sweeping brush. Just because he's a Muslim does mean not means you know his views on subjects like homosexuality. He's a westerner born and raised in England, his views will be filtered through that lens and as I said he's a gay rights supporter so your assumption was wrong and tbh it's rather ignorant to make that assumption based on someone's religion.

Well no, we were talking about if we had improved as a club and if everything they have done is a failure or success. There is no doubting in my mind that without being perfect, far from it actually, they have put us in a position of being in the business end of competitions more regular and positions to win things than before they joined the club

no not really. Klopp got players he wanted and not players brought for him. You can spend a whole load on speculative signings or back the manager and use the budget accordingly.

This whole we spend so much money … when do we buy top class players? We usually buy players with potential with a view to sell or players close to running down their contracts or a free.

The two are not the same though, you can practice a religion whilst having a modernist view on what is right and wrong. But as homosexuality is banned in a proactive way by the government in Qatar, where as its not here in a Christian country (despite it being frowned on in the bible) then it comes down to a simple choice of bigotry and leaves no doubt what they think as human beings. Its 2025 not 225

Regardless of that, there is also another issues that come into play by being owned by a country that come into play and is a situation I don't think any club let alone ours should be exposed to.

Do you know much about Khan? In what way is he in anyway like the Qataris who are linked to buying us or other clubs?

If we, somehow, make CL this summer, there is no reason for us to not show ambition. We have indeed got positions to upgrade, but as you say "we now have the money from the new stadium" and we can surely use it. Especially if we also have CL.

Qatar is a majority muslim country. We're not there yet.

I can understand scepticism - we are afterall talking about something that we have not actually done before tbf so I get that, my position is simply that we have never had all our ducks in a row on the pitch WITH the finances in place in order to spend on those sorts of players or do whatever it is needed to push us over. Yes we have under Redknapp & Poch had the first part nailed down, theoretically, but we didn't have the strength off the pitch, could we have done things differently despite that? Of course, any guarantee that things would have worked out better? No...
Since we've had the money & strength off the pitch in place we have simply not been close to Poch/Redknapp levels, either in terms of manager performance/stability or first team quality. We know what we are capable of spending, in a roundabout way, so do people think that if we were to get to those on the pitch levels again we would just leave money on the table rather than improving with more expensive players because of
.... reasons? I don't see it

Buying a striker like Isak.
Buying a left-back to really push Udogie (apart from Ange's poor coaching he often seems lackadaisical and knowing he has competition might make him become a lot more focused imo), someone like Robinson of Fulham.
Buying a bonafide number 6. Someone like Atlanta's Ederson.
Buying a left centre back to compete/rotate with MVDV.
Keeping/Buying Tel as Son replacement

Isak from Saudi Sportswashing Machine or before he went to Saudi Sportswashing Machine?

Assuming the latter then those sorts of transfers are well within our capabilities and actually fall in line with the type of transfers we've been making the last few seasons

If we have the money we claim, then it doesn't matter oif it's Isak pre Saudi Sportswashing Machine or now.

The point is if we are ambitious we'd be able to get such a player from admittedly a rival club, using our London cache and, of course, wages.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine are not Liverpool or Emirates Marketing Project...yet...

If you think it's realistic for us or anyone to go to Saudi and to prise away the jewel in their crown then you are living in cloud cuckoo land mate.
