ENIC

The mainstream picking up on the protest now, this is good news.

By mainstream do you mean lazy "journalist" copying the ranting of social media to fill space? I saw a perfect example of the standard of media when I read about a shooting today, the piece said "witnesses told reporters they were told that shots had been fired in the car park" when I worked in the media that would have never got passed an editor.

Have the protest march before, have the sit-in after, even the odd Levy Out chant during the game. But the call to sing this every ten minutes is wrong - we need to get a win and the focus of the crowd should be on supporting the team, not watching the clock for the next 10-minute segment so that they can sing their Levy Out songs.

I think the strength of protest will depend on the score and how tired and emotional the agreived are.

No
It’s wages and transfer debt mainly as far as I can tell
It’s all there in the details
The write downs are stadium debt but the actual debt associated with player purchases along with abuse wage bill is 90% of the outgoings at a guess
It is actually depreciation of the stadium (and to a lesser extent training ground) not write downs on stadium debt.

Yeah better language for a start
But it’s selective as to how much the club choose to do on that front isn’t it?
I don’t believe it has to be the every year under IFRS

ENIC must feel great knowing they’ve always got your support regardless. They could move us to the WSL and you’d find a way to make it sound like it was a good decision.

They moved us into the WSL 5 years ago, or rather we got promoted to it.

We’re actually playing Arsenal in it today.

I think it was a good decision yes.

Do you have a problem with us having a Women’s team?

Do I have a problem with our women’s team playing in the women’s WSL? No I don’t. However, if the men’s team moved to the WSL you’d find some way to make it sound like a bold, innovative move.

It seems to be yes.

There are some reasonably standard practices around how businesses write down assets such as commercial buildings. However, it appears as though THFC are writing down the capital investments much more quickly than is standard practice. I caveat that with the fact that this is just my interpretation of what I see in the accounts, as unfortunately the accounts do not give enough detail for anyone to be sure.

People can protest all they like but Levy isn't going anywhere, he's seen as a steady hand hence the takeover links wanting to keep him in place. Big decisions in the summer though over manager and transfer policy.
Pretty much any takeover of any company involves keeping on the key execs for a period of time post takeover.
