Haha...the funny thing is it's hard to decipher if this is true or not, and that in itself provides a perfect example of life on Twitter, both dangerous and laughable.I've read 70% of the votes were bots.

According to google the full quote is "Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, vox populi, vox dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit.”Musk trying to justify it with a quote about the people being the voice of GHod, but the full quote actually ends saying people are idiots.
According to google the full quote is "Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, vox populi, vox dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit.”
it translates to: "Do not listen to those who say the voice of the people is the voice of GHod, since the tumult of the crowd is always close to madness."
"free speech" advocates are a funny bunch.
Not sure why it's necessary to give people a platform who deny the holocaust for example. Is that necessary?
On Trump, i mean, we know he tells lies. And we know his lies can cause ireperable harm. Every time he opens his mouth and says some stupid, at least one of his idiot followers will take a gun and do damage. So like, why give them a platform? we saw with KT Hopkins and that Milo bellend when they dont have the platform, they cant preach their hate.
Reminded of this lovely skit:

Apple has mostly stopped advertising on Twitter. Do they hate free speech in America?
