Ultimately now we have to show this famous new Lewis Family ambition and invest the money to improve the first team, because currently it looks fairly blunt in many areas
 
From Djeds pov...if he wants to start regularly, then a move is what he needed. If he asked to move, luckily he had a manager that wouldn't stand in his way. So we say best wishes.

From our pov we lose a massively high level utility player (something that Djed probably doesn't want to be). We will have regrets about that BUT something had to give.
 
If Spence knuckles down to being a specialist RB in Italy, it does make you wonder about his long term England status. We've seen a player like Tomori just get completely overlooked. I would say RB is quite a competitive position for England, way more than LB. For me, it's always Reece James when fit. He stands above the other candidates right now. We do have a few centre halves like Konsa and White that play in the RB position as well.

Personally, I think he'll be competing with Livramento for the second slot. However, I think both Livra and James will continue with the injury misfortune so we'll see a lot of Djed wearing the 3 lions.

Well, Gray would get even less 'development' on the bench.
As soon as RDZ arrived, Gray barely got on the park. I think he was benched in RDZ's first or second game?
Be that as it may, even with new signings I'm guessing Gray will get some minutes in midfield. (Fernandez is only a year or so older than Gray).
To your point though, yes, in this scenario Gray may not now get as much midfield development as he otherwise may have had.
Lots of factors and considerations play in to that, not least of which is the PL is very tough, uncompromising and competitive.....for all clubs.

A long shot but wasn't it Tye Hall that RDZ used at RB in pre-season? How did he do there?

I thought Konsa was bang average at RB for England. Did ok in a tournament setting as 4th option but we should never be playing a CB there during qualifiers.

For me he’s now the starting LB and backup RB.

This might be the daftest thing you've posted.

Milan is a fabulous city for someone that likes socialising and fashion and has loads of money.
It's short on "tourist sightseeing", but to live there would be a fabulous lifestyle.

Compared to everywhere else in Italy though, its ugly and industrial. Not really the dolce vita
