Classless, how disappointing
Classless, how disappointing
That's the kind of insight into someone's mentality that could cost them a move to a top club
Red flag. We don't need that sort of attitude at that age, in our dressing room.

What did he say/do ?
Last page. Sent a tweet to warnock. Basically gloating about forest getting promoted. Warnock had sent him on loan to forest as he had attitude problems. He told him that he could go to the very top or the very bottom. He thought cooper could help him. Partly because cooper would play him a bit further forward.
Disrespectful to warnock who has been trying to make him the best player he can be. But also boro who he is still a player of.
Thanks.
We don't need someone with this attitude.
You sure that's not a thank you to warnock? Or a 'you were right'?Last page. Sent a tweet to warnock. Basically gloating about forest getting promoted. Thought that myself. Quite funny reading how many have decided they know what his attitude is like based off this one tweet. Spurs had done enough due diligence to bid for him in January. Not really sure this tweet is going to change much….You sure that's not a thank you to warnock? Or a 'you were right'?
Hope you’re right, just seeing the picture and the wording of the tweet didn’t come across as him being humble though? You sure that's not a thank you to warnock? Or a 'you were right'?
Looked to me as though he got back and goal side every time his direct opponent got forward and stayed high and wide when his opponent wasn't going forward, which is exactly what you want from a wing back.I know it's easy to be critical but I thought he's short passing was a bit lazy and sloppy, also like GB says he didn't seem to be busting a gut to track back on several occasions (although Conte could probably fix that part!). On the plus side he does look athletic, pacey, had the full back pinned back and scared to push forward and can put a good whipped ball in the box.
Isiah Jones doesn't keep him out of the Boro side. Spence was loaned to Forest due to apparently having a few attitude issues (though his attitude at Forest has apparently been exemplary). Spence made the Championship team of the season ahead of Jones at Boro. Jones is a decent player (I put a list of good lower league players up that I'd happily see Spurs sign back in January and Jones was in that list). However he isn't as good as Spence. Spence has the attributes to be able to totally dominate a flank, there aren't many of those players around. He will take a bit of polishing, that's for sure but could come in and do a job straight away for us as well.Sorry if it's a stupid question, but what's the deal with the guy who keeps him out of the Boro side? Isaiah Jones?
Is it a naughton and walker thing, and are we definitely looking at the right one?

Probably one of those where If someone like Conte meets him he'll know pretty quickly if he can be "broken and moulded" to use that arrogance to be a winner (think Drogba etc) or if he's just a bellend.
Most of us were bellends at 21. The influence of the leaders you get to work with is essential to the next bit of the path.
