Wow. That clip really brings out how accomplished and consistent he is at both intercepting and simultaneously clearing the danger with an outball. It's bang-bang every time, and so elegantly too. Virtually nothing gets past him.Little Sanchez highlight reel
What about Eriksen s goal.?
Goalie should have done better?
Was middle of the goal but did the dip do him?
My instinct is to agree with this but I do think it was just a wicked shot, the keeper should be a few yards off his line there to cover more of the target area and the dip was so extreme / unexpected I think it would have beaten most. It looked terrible for the keeper though as he was on his knees.Thought the same when I saw it. As good a shot as it was Id have been really tinkled had Lloris let that in.
It was right down the middle, not sure there are any excuses really.
Likewise sometimes when the keeper is beat at the near post it really is unstoppable (rocket to the top corner) and again the instinct is to blame the keeper rather than take your hat off that the specific shot is the exception to the rule.It was a wicked shot, but its a bit like getting beaten at the near post - as good as the attack might be you really expect your keeper to deal with it.
It was Caballero though, so its hardly a surprise!
I do but have no objection to you having another view.I get that, but I dont think theres ever a situation where you say "400% the keeper cant be faulted" in those situations.
As above, had that been at the other end I think many would have been very fairly asking questions of Lloris.
Think there is a good picture on twitter showing the shot at its highest point....and it looks ridiculously high.Thought the same when I saw it. As good a shot as it was Id have been really tinkled had Lloris let that in.

To the tune of La Donna È Mobile (Rigoletto):Brilliant. Reminds me of Ledley.
I thought it was a mixed bag of a performance rather than an outright bad game from him tbh
We seemed to have a massive hole in the middle of the pitch in front of him for a lot of the game but he should have been a lot quicker to anticipate and intercpet the balls played through
Unfortunately, he was very poor yesterday. He made a lot of mistakes. He had been criticized by other teams' fans as I have a lot of them as friends as I am an overseas supporter. I have usually defended him but yesterday was simply an embarrassing performance. He is young, he has a lot to learn and gain. He is one of the young defenders with great prospects.I hope he can overcome this match but I don't want him as first option next season.
