Imagine a world where Everton were building a new stadium, and we were still at old WHL.
This was a great listen last night. Lots of different views and opinions from a wide range of fans.
I’ve posted this before, showing that our revenue as a percentage of the richest PL club’s revenue has grown a fair bit since Levy was here:
The only club that’s done better is Man C, but they did it with a £1bn gift from their owners.
I’ll jump in before himInterested in your response to this @DubaiSpur!
I’ll jump in before him
Revenue means nothing without profit
The key for us is out cost base is sensible…. Wages
Fans regular complain when it’s highlighted we don’t spend as high a ratio as others on wages but… we’re about the right level and other teams are trying to get there
The new rules mean it has do happen soon
Either increase turnover (we have) or cut your actual wages. The latter is an issue because that means an inferior player
Yeah I get thatDepends what you are using it show. I believe @elltrev is showing that Spurs have grown off the field at a better rate than any club other than Emirates Marketing Project in the time that ENIC have run the club, I think in an attempt to counter the argument from posters like Dubai who like to suggest that our growth has not been an impacted positively by the owners and is something that would have just happened anyway without them.

I think the commercial growth Levy has overseen is undeniably the most spectacular in all of football. It blows away EMP's due to the source nature not being an oil-rich nation state. In fairness to @DubaiSpur I don't think he'd deny that (I am making an assumption of course)...
No, Dubai has definitely said the clubs growth off the field is down to circumstance rather than anything the club owners have done.
I think this is easily proven with some quite simplistic comparative data. No, Dubai has definitely said the clubs growth off the field is down to circumstance rather than anything the club owners have done.

Why does anyone give that clam air?Did he not say that any club would have grown by the same amount, same way Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United and Wimbledon have, the clubs that finished around us pre ENIC.
Hello @spurs' magna carterReports all over the place now that Tel has turned us down. And for me this sums it all up. Throw everything at another player that looks at us and thinks
Ambitious? No
Has a real desire to win? No
Will they pay me decent money? No
Would love to have been a fly on the wall as Tel told Scrooge's offspring 'I er....no'.
Levy, source of the bleed. The man NEEDS to go.
Hello @spurs' magna carter
How are you feeling now that the window has closed, and Spurs landed Tel?
How are you feeling you deluded mug?
Still madly and deeply in love with the all encompassing daniel levy?
Yeah thought as much.
And by the way, it was big Ange that landed Tel not your little crooked, corrupt greedy c@!# of a supposed chairman.
One trophy in seventeen years, you'll never sing that.
I think you'll find the attached photo very fitting of this said chairman.
Look at the substitutions that Liverpool are bringing on. That's what this club should have, not what you're chairman believes we should have as the fourth Liverpool goal goes in.
GET RID OF THE RAT!!!!
Afford something? We're the 3rd or 4th biggest spenders since we moved into the stadium and that's what it was for.In the last couple of seasons I have gone from a full on Levy backer to a skeptic.
Now I cannot support him what so ever anymore.
Absoloute brick show we are in and there is nothing in the way of reinforcments equvalent to the position we are in.
I get it... when faced with stick or twist in terms of transfers Levy will always stick.
Sometimes you can justify that. Not want to shake the boat.
Not in the position we are in.
It demands SOMETHING
I refuse to believe we cannot afford SOMETHING.
What was the stadium for?
