I thought someone said that senior players had to approach Ange to stop our kamikaze tactics last season.
 
I also saw the Cuti thing pop up on my Facebook. This was the message....

"Ange,thank you for these two incredible seasons. You’re a fantastic coach, but above all, a great person who deserves the best.
From day one you paved the way despite the many obstacles that always existed and always will exist. Beyond everything, we won a trophy and went down in the history of this beautiful club, which is the only thing that matters. I wish you the best because you deserve the best, and thank you for everything"

However, when I looked closer I could see that this is a busy social media channel. There has been 6 separate posts in February alone. I don't think it is Cuti having a little dig at Frank by praising Ange. I just think it's him and his media team trying to create feel good traffic. Helping the fans to remember the success of last season.

He has 3.5k followers. It's not a massive following to be fair.

I would take the experience of a player who has worked with someone for two years over the impression from fans all day, every day, twice on Sundays and an extra time on every day ending in a y over the impression of fans.

Yes it's true about fans opinions, this time last year Ange was getting the same we want him out as Frank is getting now from a section of fans. I don't want him out I just want him to tweak the tactics and cut out all the poncey stuff of playing out from the back with Romero one of the main culprits when he gets the ball takes an age to decide on a pass, I want 2nd halves like against City get the ball into the opposition half as quickly as possible.

Make no mistake, we will probably survive this season, without real change, if we sell a few of our better players and keep Frank, we could be in a real relegation battle next season.

That’s suggesting that Lange and the scours only became aware of those players due to other clubs interests which won’t be the case. It’s fairly standard for bigger clubs to let smaller clubs negotiate a transfer fee for a player and then come in last minute and agree to the same deal. It goes against us at times as well. Luis Diaz as an example.

Imo we can't play like we did the the first 20-25 minutes in the second half against City for full games. Our ability to do so will also depend on the opposition, game state, who plays for us.

For me we also need to be able to slow things down. I really like that Romero takes his time, he's one of very few in the squad able to do that and find good forward passes through the lines in those situations. We need that too for me, being able to mix it up and not be predictable is a good thing.

He has actually fought his way to become a Stoke first choice centre half after the early season when they went for the older guys.

He is a very good player. I don't think he would look too out of place in the PL already. So far we have managed his pathway pretty well I think.
