Coronavirus

I wonder if people will head a warning about their own lifestyles when this is all done. Highblood pressure or lead deaths is the UKs biggest killer by some way, alot of that comes from diet exercise etc. According to reports that would also have increased your chances of dying if you have Covid by some way. So when we come out of this crisis and the result is had people looked after themselves better the death rate would be lower do you think people will heed the advice and make changes to their life that will benefit them regardless of Covid? Take Covid out of this I did not realise until a few months back when Stephen Fry did an advert how big a killer it is

I think people need a shock, I found out about a minor heart issue in my 20’s, before that I gave very little thought to diet and exercise, lived off beer and burgers.

Same, not the heart issue but I was told that hidden things that appear in what you might think is a health body could kill you, was after a few tests and blood tests. I took the advice and moderated things and walk more now than I have ever and feel a million bucks.

I just think if people took advice which is out there you would live more healthy to save your life in the same volume as you might wear a mask to protect yourself from Covid. I just wonder if people will or would

I love brick like this

People across the country have opposing views about the government's new coronavirus tier system.

But in the case of Langwith, on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, the division is somewhat more literal.

The county boundary runs down the middle of Portland Road, meaning houses on one side have "tier one" restrictions, while the other side is "tier two".

It's caused some amusement among residents, but also much frustration due to the difficulty of living in a community with two sets of rules

People on the Derbyshire side of the street, currently in tier one, can meet socially in groups of six indoors, while those on the other side are subject to more stringent restrictions - due to the fact Nottinghamshire became tier two this week.

Kath Sharpe, a 72-year-old parish councillor who lives in the village, said people had been joking about building a wall down the middle of the road.

"It's crackers," she said. "As far as I'm aware, we've not had any cases of Covid in the village.

"People here have been very good at following the rules but I don't think they're going to stick to this - plus, who's going to come and enforce it?

"It should have been looked at as a whole community, not some of it lumped in with what's happening miles away."

The whole thing is limp. In London half the people don't bother to wear masks in shops, let alone find out what 'tier' we're in. The government lost the people some time back.

The irony of them not being able to see that, after taking such care to check their eyesight.

Probably half the people in London can’t speak or understand English
