Not Socialist Distancing

That is the headline of the year for me on the news that Corbyn was caught with 8 at his house for dinner. Classic

It wasn't at his house was it?

A bit awkward but I suppose he could have left upon realising there were more than 6 people, but as far as I read it was a friend's dinner party not his.

Edit : good headline though, which granted was the point of your post.

Oh was it? Didn't read the full story TBH, the headline still tickled me

Saw some silly bint from the SNP traveled the length of the country after a positive test result, thats rather careless

Yeah, I can't see how she can do anything other than step down really, especially given she was apparently pretty vocal about Cummings.
Had symptoms, took a test, was isolating, felt better, took the train to London. Spent day in Westminster. Got test result - positive. Took train back up to Scotland. Irresponsible at best.

Criminal behaviour, she needs to resign.

She took the train? Wowzers

more flimflam from SAGE no doubt

The UK's R number, the rate at which coronavirus spreads, has risen to between 1.3 and 1.6.

Data released by the government's scientific advisory group Sage shows the figure for the whole of the UK has risen compared with last week when it was between 1.2 and 1.5.

Sage has cautioned that while there are some early indications which suggest the growth of the epidemic might be slowing, it is too early to draw firm conclusions.

Any number over 1 means the virus is spreading exponentially

We need a Guy Fawkes to blow the lot of arseholes away, none of them give a brick about the public.

We certainly need a new party. And somebody to inspire and give a bit of hope. I haven’t felt this grim about politics since the 80s.

80 seat majority given by Get Brexit Done and centrist media with an axe to grind with Corbyn.
....can also be read as an 80 seat majority given away by a party unwilling to live in the real world and elect a leader from this century's political landscape.

They appear to have righted that wrong.

It doesn't actually matter. If the media support you then you win. His merits and failings are clear to me. And he would have struggled as a leader no doubt. But that isn't what lost him the election.

The way all of them acted last year with the Brexit debates was disgraceful, none of them were doing what they were put there to do.

Absolutely. They were put there to act in their constituents’ best interests, and they could have done so if they’d frustrated Johnson properly.

There was Change UK but nobody wanted them.

Because its the same people.
It's not the politics that are wrong, it's the politicians.
It's one of the reasons trump won.
Turns out he's a bigger clam than politicians, but a message was sent out, turned out the Democrats didn't hear it.

Didn't a majority of constituencies vote leave though? Take Tom Watsons constituency which voted I tink 56-58%ish for leave, was he representing them?
