Coronavirus

The Lies at 5 reached a new low today. Grant Shapps and Jenny Harries literally re-writing the lockdown rules on live television. Incredible to watch.

I’ve got a feeling this one is going to run and run. The Prime Minister (if anyone can track him down) would be well advised to extricate himself at this point because there are more and more questions arising the further they get into backing Cummings.

I agree with the idea that false fury is the new norm and although there are some compassionate people in the world the media and the negatives shout loudest.

The CV guidelines are what they are but can have common sense applied. People will pull them apart for the sake of an argument but if Cummings was looking at his children’s welfare and it’s genuine and his parents agreed which rests into personal responsibility then the fury doesn’t in my mind match the crime.

It will only run on and on because as I say the compassionate gain no airtime and the people baying for jobs will. That’s society now, judge and ask for people to lose their jobs, pretty sad example of life.

And before people throw politics up I felt and voices same about the bird up in Scotland.

Sad society these days where people twitch the curtains to grass their neighbours.

It is in fact These reports according to my mate at the Met the least of the polices issues and I fact blocks up a system where real crime is committed

LOL Being Furloughed isnt a work life balance you utter Muppet.

I bet you are one of those "too scared" to go back to work ie loving free cash.

It's not a survey solely for furloughed people though is it? You dingdong head. People still working from home are seeing an increase in balance between work and personal life, no stress of commute etc.

Many companies will allow permanent remote work after all of this. You're too fudging stupid to understand that though.

You often find that vaccines, treatments and tests are not 400%. The BCG vaccine which most of us would have been administered as Teens has an efficacy of between 70-80%. That’s still better than having no vaccine.

Think that talk also about a bad test being worse then no test is gonads. South Korea proved that.

Boris isnt going to last till the next election

I cant see how cummings stays - if he does the list of MPs/Cabinet members against him will grow - Gove lurking in the darkness with a Knife as I type

telling the mail has gone in hard on cummings this morning.

They will let him deal with brexit then they will be lining up to take his job and he will ho and work on the board of delivroo.

Whoops

“Mr Cummings had left his home to find a vet as his hamster had contracted Covid and urgently required medication.

Unfortunately none of the vets in his area were open, so Mr Cummings tried Watford, where he again could not find a surgery which was open. He then tried Peterborough, Leicester and Nottingham, but with no success, before eventually finding a vet able to supply him near to Durham.

The death figure really is 36,000, by the way, and remember that we had a protective bubble around care homes from the start. And more PPE than we knew what to do with.

You will be glad to know the hamster is fine.

That concludes Sunday’s briefing.”

She's "fuming" whilst promoting her brand, I see.

Still, if she genuinely is angry then Cummings is doing his job perfectly.

Given this evening’s further news, I have a feeling he’ll be giving talks at tech start up companies before too long.

Let’s be honest, that’s really the job he’s made for.

He's riled you a few times in this thread, I'd say he's doing his job perfectly.

Alastair Campbell is someone I've never really liked very much. I don't like his politics and I particularly don't like his accent. But having heard him talk candidly about his job and what it entails I have huge professional respect for him. His job wasn't to be some shadowy, secret power source - his job was to be a lightning rod for all the hatred headed for Blair. He did that impeccably.

Cummings is the same but with the added benefit of being helpful in elections too.

And there was me thinking the job of government was to govern. But no, it’s apparently to rile the population.

At least they are effective in something, I suppose.
