^^ People now know that by building some incredible "shed project" they will get onto "Shed of the Year" and get loads of publicity... it's gone beyond sheds now and is basically "build some massive crazy thing in your garden and pretend it was once a shed".

I'm beginning to think having nuclear weapons is a bad idea.

The cold war was the background music in my formative years, and it embedded a prepper mentality deep within my subconscious. I don't obsess over it but it bubbles to the surface every now and then. During Trump's tenure in particular I was certainly thinking about it far more than previously. It has just occurred to me that there is a significant overlap with my thinking on climate disaster. Hmm....interesting.

I suspect Belarus and Ukraine could have done with a nuclear arsenal in recent years.
