That's because I voted for Silva 6 months ago, and changed my vote to Frank an hour ago.Rumours about that Silva is the new favourite?
Yes, but we need them on the way up, so that Tottenham is the biggest job and ambition of their life, not on the way down when it's only for money. You mean like Conti, he has just won the league at Napoli
We need to find a serial winner. All the best coaches have won, wherever they have been, at whatever level. We need to take a chance on someone and see if they can step up. Someone like Frank, who is regarded on here as a 'safe pair of hands', will never be anything but. I loved Poch, but let's be honest, his career has hit similar (almost there) heights wherever he's been.

It was at this time, in the dark Danish winter days, a new account appeared on the Brøndby forum Sydsiden Online. Going under the username ‘Oscar’, it heavily criticised Thomas Frank and sporting director Per Rud with messages such as:
In March, shortly after the spring season had started, it was revealed that the man behind the comments were none other than chairman Jan Bech Andersen himself.
- “Per and Thomas took so many insane decisions together because of ignorance and inexperience.”
- “We can’t point at a single signing that has been even close to respectable, and Thomas’ missing ability to integrate new players, which he has 100% picked himself, is lame and unacceptable.”
- “Another coach should be able to get more out of it [the squad], and there is focus on this [from the club]. I’m convinced we’ll see changes very soon.”
- “When we have a head coach who is inexperienced and stubbornly sticking to a system that doesn’t work, we have a recipe for disaster.”
Unsurprisingly, Frank decided to quit shortly after the news broke, leaving the club in fifth in the league following a 3-1 defeat to SønderjyskE.
Andersen himself was also forced to step down as chairman, but later regained his position, which he still holds this to this day.
The squad has had £400m spent on it since that time and is in a much more shipshape state. Anyone good should hit the ground running. There will also be a lot of quick wins, once we start running smartly and passing & moving againWe all gave Ange the 2 seasons to settle. I'm worried that very few us are going to afford the same grace to whoever comes next. I'm not feeling it.
Rumours about that Silva is the new favourite
First job since he left us, methinks it is rather disingenuous to suggest that he is on the way downYes, but we need them on the way up, so that Tottenham is the biggest job and ambition of their life, not on the way down when it's only for money.

I'm not talking about whether Conte is on his way down, I'm talking about someone stepping down from a 'bigger' club to Spurs.First job since he left us, methinks it is rather disingenuous to suggest that he is on the way down
Very impressive given their resources.
This is Eddie Howes record at Bournemouth by way of comparison, given he similarly managed a small club in the PL, had them punching and has managed to handle a step up since :

As you can see, similar placings but did eventually wind up relegated.
Think it's done.I can’t see it being anyone but Frank - and I’m excited if it’s him.
As delighted as I am to see the back of the big-boned Aussie, I'd be quite underwhelmed by the appointment of Silva, and I'd rather Frank, who I think is a more talented coach. I haven't really paid close attention to him, but Silva just seems a bit meh ...
What I want to see is someone who (au Pochettino) will work with the squad to improve them and make us more than the sum of our parts again.
