Is that Levy? Bloke looks like he’s got hair at the back of his head.
I mean, a manager who wants to work everyday would not choose international football to begin with. You have to be realistic about what that entails, which is long periods without coaching or training. That's what most managers who turn down international footy say - they would miss the day to day. So, yes, lots more time for things outside football, and lots more opportunity for such things in the US.Most managers ...want to work everyday...that's who they are.
Yeah let's go shopping![]()
Btw...You're only 10 weeks into Trump mate. Hope your papers are in order![]()
He was pretty much fine for most of his tenure (ie he was doing fantastic job)..let's be honest most managers just need financial support, and that is definitely a different landscape from when he was first here.
I'm going to start a rumour that Ange is going to be the next USMT manager. Experienced, winning international manager unlike the one they currently have.
Will just need to say dude where he current says mate.
Not sure on your analogy, but what if both sides had their eyes on a “floozie”?
Also, in a marriage, you have to think of the children, a broken home might still be better than an angry one.
I think you might be overthinking it, a main feature of lightning, bottled or otherwise, is that it is a fleeting manifestation.
Eh? Who was Poch's?
A broken home is invariably an angry one, and it behooves everyone to work very hard to get beyond the 'broken' and 'anger' if believed in it at the start. I got married very young, we had a son, we broke up when I was in my mid-20s, we committed to co-raising him in the same city (week on week off), instead of blaming her (she cheated) I had to be honest and say I would've too had I had the courage so I did a self-inventory and made sure to learn from my mistakes. I met my wife two years later in '97, we have had some stormy times but always, always knew we loved each other and thus dug deep. Subsequently, we're in the best place we've ever been at 58 and 57 respectively...I will always believe the club did not work hard enough to understand how magical the union with Poch was. Anyway...
And I think that's what made it so special. He caught this fleeting moment anmd stretched it for 5 years. we arrived at the biggest single game this club has ever had on fumes, he was still conjuring a spark from the bottle. Imagine that; the man who trapped lightining and made it work for 5 years, yet the moment he couldn't, we simply said he was past it and fudged him off for a blagger...
(BTW I always enjoy our discussions/exchanges/disagreements mate...I mean, I like it more when we agree BUT you know what I'm saying)
I'm not sure who Poch's was, if anyone*, but he was hardly showing a desperation to stay and fix things, his attitude and effort was waning, he'd reportedly given up on being involved in training and his enthusiasm was clearly gone, many of the players were phoning it in and he was letting them.
I'm glad things worked out for you. Sounds like what I'm suggesting, a parting of the ways made things better for everybody, maybe, thats your experience though and I don't want to words on your keyboard.
I think he may have been past it before the CL final, he had already retreated into his shell, and certain comments suggest he was already considering leaving.
Likewise
*Maybe Madrid, he'd been talked about for that role previously.
First marriage yes because it wasn't right,.
Second marriage, no, because it was right, we'd just hit some very awkward and life-challenging moments which required strength, fortitude and most of all appreciation of what we have and why we got together in the first place.
There were absolutely issues with Poch, however I still think it was 'second marriage territory' and we should'ver worked harder. The irony is that Levy actually DID that bit in that summer, only to blow it up when his BF whispered in his shell-like (all IMO anyway)...
It’s the fresh choiceI love Poch,, and for that reason my choice is Iraola.
Poch at Limes?!
Definitely a no to Poch - he's clearly started smoking the lemons:
"We have Lionel Messi in the MLS and he is helping a lot. But creating the new training centre in Atlanta is as important an impact as having a Messi. In five or 10 years, for sure the US can be No 1 in the world.”
