Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

Yep, If you are spunk a decent fee then it does seem a risk. But then again, with no European football they will need to overpay or take players in that bracket
They already overpay massively for most of their transfers and get shafted on their sales too, they’ll struggle to make much money from sales this summer, unless they offload Bruno to Saudi or something for silly money.

These berks paid 70m for Mason Mount FFS.

I can't imagine anyone offering 40m for Rashford or 50m+ they want for Garnacho etc. They will probably end up going out on loan. Sancho too. They are also stuck with Onana, Mount, Eriksen, Casemiro, Shaw, Hojlund etc.

They are in a real mess, and any buyer will be stupid not to make it hard for them.

Will be interesting if they change their strategy at all. Since Ferguson left everything has been after a quick fix. Which has just meant spending silly money. The one manager I thought that was onto something was Solskjaer but they forced Ronaldo onto him and it started going wrong.

Bruno... Onana... Garnacho... Hojlund just to start with

Bruno, on new contract, so not big profit
Onana & Hojlund be lucky to recoup current book value
Anthony will need to take a hit on
Rashforn and Sancho the wages complicate any sale

Really the profit if there is any will be Garnacho & Mainoo (will go down well with fans)

Approaching Cunha, Delap & Mbeumo sounds smart, the issue is, getting rid of deadwood is always harder than you think, you always make less than you think and United needs 2strikers, midfielders with legs, defenders and a new GK.

And the stupidity of every club reporter knowing already (before window opens) that those three are your targets almost guarantees it will be a competitive transfer and they will have to overpay on some of them.

Where are they getting £62m from? And all while they are laying off another 200 staff.

clam of a club.
I guess on the accounts its only 21m or whatever (over 3 years etc). But still... lot of money when you are laying off regular employees on 30, 40, 50k a year!

Interesting to see what happens to Rashford. Can see another loan for him; Villa without CL probably can't afford/won't want him.
