Lol, people still moaning!
Well you do know he did not throw himself into a last ditch tackle and never won one header.

dont forget to @strawman
I take it you have never read his critics then?
If people can't see the effect/quality of Eriksen in last 5 games, then no point arguing.
Game against Cheat$ki also showed how its supposed to work, Kane/Dele/Dembele are supposed to draw the opposition to them, make runs, give Eriksen the space/time, with that he can hurt the opponent, it showed up in his shooting chance early, plus the two assists ..
That's why it's no coincidence that his form has improved since Kane has come back in the team, as his movement creates more space for all the attacking players. I was always told what you do when you haven't got the ball is just as important as what you do with the ball.[/QUOTE]
Bingo, I am not generally one for stats but its well know on the training pitch that most footballers only have the ball at their feet for a few minutes during a game ( it used be be 2 minutes but that may have changed). Do what you do for the remaining time is importent.
There are players who never stop working and one of the biggest examples for me was the first time i saw Lineker play live, he never stopped moving and it was then i saw what a great player he really was.
I've seen him criticised (and have criticised him myself) for the way he handles certain unavoidable situations rather than criticism for him not seeking those situations out.
I think that nuance is important.
Have you ever thought about going into Politics
nah, that involves interacting with people in the real world
There's no available stat for "passes prevented by closing off the channel" but I think that's something he does pretty well.
Said it before... as long as we keep feeding him with decent service he will deliver. Good balls where he gets a bit of time and space in the final third like he got twice from Walker against Chelsea.very good today, now hope he can keep this up for the rest of the season.
his potential was never his problem. if he wants to be regarded as a top player, he needs to influence games with much more consistency.
Well we missed his creativity yesterday, he is the main player and when he is not there we miss him ( especially the last ditch tackles ).
Glad we managed to give him a rest, having him ( & Wanyama, Rose, Walker, Jan, Harry, Dembele) get some extra down time is best part of yesterday's result (regardless of game quality)
I do not disagree with that at all, just pointing out to those who do not rate him how much creativity we lack when he is not there.
