Cheatski are still scum

They obviously now need to shift 10 or so players this summer, and will recoup quite a good chunk if they can on most of the, BUT I can't see them doing that BEFORE the end of June? Most transfers even early ones don't normally happen until 1st July do they.

Also, If you wanted a Chelsea outcast wouldn't you wait until closer to deadline day to get a cut price deal when you know you have them over a barrel?*

*brick, This is what years of watching Levy do business has done to me! Not wanting players in early and sacrificing getting them in early and settled just to save on transfer fees lol

Not that I want any of these Chelsea outcasts anyway to be fair. The ones I'd take wouldn't be the any of ones they are trying to shift

James and Madueke

Yeah, But they won't be on the 'OUT' list. It's players like Pulisic, Ziyech, Kepa, PEA, etc. None we'd really want.
None that many would want at the inflated wages Chelsea are paying them.

I'm not sure Todd Lasso has quite come to grips with how the transfer market works outside of the US.

I think domestic transfers are allowed in the period between the PL window opening sometime in June and the international/European one opening on 1 July.
Not the best position to be in with every club knowing how desperate you are to sell. And it's also dependent on the players and their agents being accommodating.

It would be a fun watch if we didn't have so much going on ourselves. Well, it should still be a fun watch, regardless.
Unless they get Poch in. That will hurt.

We need to shift about 10 players, they probably need to shift closer to 20 (squad is >35 without including loans), especially if they want to give the new manager a few players

They are absolutely fudged
- Everyone knows they have to get people out, so leverage is against them
- Players have guaranteed wages for 8 years, the wages are too high for other clubs, why would anyone take less?
- They will likely have serious FFP concerns so they can't just eat a loss on the sell (it will mess with their books)
- Who's going to buy Kepa & Lukaku?

You know I looked at their squad and saw they had 30 to 35 players in their squad but I didn't account for the 8 or so additional players they have out on loan! They are gonna have a mental summer trying to sort that squad out, Especially like you say if the new manager wants to bring it a striker or two just to begin with!

Say it's not true.

Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea hopes boosted after positive talks

Mauricio Pochettino has boosted his candidacy for the Chelsea job following a series of positive talks between the Argentine and the Stamford Bridge club.

Julian Nagelsmann remains one of the frontrunners to become Chelsea’s next permanent head coach, but now faces increasing competition from Pochettino, whose credentials are being carefully considered.

Telegraph Sport this week revealed that Luis Enrique had slipped to an outsider for the post and that Chelsea had initiated contact with all candidates, including Nagelsmann and Pochettino.

It is understood that Pochettino has held more than one round of talks with Chelsea this week with warmth growing towards the Argentine, who was interviewed for the job before Graham Potter was appointed head coach.

I seriously consider finding something else to do than watching football if Poch goes to Chelsea! I'd be devastated!

Telegraph is Matt Law, right?
In which case, he's just putting the Poch story out there to wind us up.

(Yes, I am grasping at any straw so I can believe it is not going to happen).

^^ Yes. Is there some sort of history with him?

And Levy loves hiring ex-Chelsea managers.

He tends to be very anti-Levy, anti-spurs and just a general Chelski loving slag.

But we think most journos hate us so who knows.

Think he's the one who reported we were gonna raise ST prices by 11%, getting everyone whipped into a lil frenzy.

Getting pumped by Lamela at Sevilla.

That would feel like a huge story to us Spurs fans, if it happened to Spurs... but because it happened to Utd we just kind of smile and move on and gloss over it.

Frauds. Billions spent.

Not just The Telegraph, unfortunately, and not looking good…
