Championship and EFL Football

Their ground is only slightly smaller than Bournemouth's, but not much room for expansion.
They are moving to a new ground for 24/25

I'm guessing most of the £10m will be for safety and access. Currently the away end entrance is below a flat and in-between two houses.
The stairs are basically a fire escape that overlooks garden's. I'm actually surprised it's allowed in the Championship.

Fair play
Team that finished 3rd actually went up

As a person who's maternal side of the family were Forest fans it was a new experience not feeling anxiety about the play offs for once knowing Forest were already up there (and ended Arsenal's title hopes in the process haha). The play offs aren't fair but generate money and excitement, and Forest finished third a bunch of times and lost in the play offs.

Incredible from Luton and that was with their captain collapsing early on in the game. It goes without saying but hope he's doing as best as can be. Luckily the guy seems to be recovering well and the players reacted well and used it as an impetus.

Whoever chose the post extra time pre penalties music as Massive Attack "Teardrop" deserves a raise as well, normally folks in football don't have good taste.

They are knocking down and rebuilding a stand in the summer
Not sure how…
The away end won’t change much

Oh wow!! Bet that started at 8pm!!

Modern building techniques and design, it's doable in three months I guess.
It's Luton, just asked the locals to help with demolition - be done before Sunday roast is ready

It’s a hole
It’s the same it was when they were division 1 years ago
But the club is skint
Poor to the core
The plans they have for the new ground are really good
This may well help them make that move which would be great for the town

The prem and parachute windfall will be interesting. The new stadium looks good, and looks like it's trying to retain the intimacy of KR. I wonder if the new guaranteed millions will result in making the small stand at Power Court bigger.

Gonna make church services at St Mary's interesting for early Sunday games

I doubt they will change the plans but hopefully they can use use money to the development done on the mix used site, to sell that, to turn the new ground

I remember Luton from back when I first got into English football. Used to have a soft spot for them back then. They always avoided relegation until they didn't - and then they disappeared. Feeling quite nostalgic to have them back. Great underdog story, and I wish them well in the PL next season.
