Right result. Bruce wasn't brave enough in the first half and paid the price. Good character shown by Fulham to do it. 3rd-placed teams, having set their hearts on automatic promotion, are often beaten before they've kicked a ball in the playoffs.
 
Have to say I got that one completely wrong.

My call was 100% a Villa - Boro final, with Fulham not having the stones to get up off the floor after their disappointing finish.

Sessegnon going nowhere now, I would say, only possible shout is a buy and loan back situation - though thats unlikely.
 
If anyone is interested, the Football league show is no longer on Channel 5 - it has moved to Quest at (I think) 9:00pm.

Lampard kicked of his managerial career with a win in the Friday night game, last minute winner to be precise, so fair play for that.

Of the games live now the result of the day so far is Millwall beating Boro 2-0. Boro are among the favourites to go up, and nobody expected Millwall to continue their good form.

Brentford, Bristol, Blackburn and Wigan all also currently winning.
 
Sunderland won the early game against Charlton, coming back from behind to win 2-1. I wonder when they last got 3 points?!

Burton are losing 2-0, I like Clough and Burton, and hope its not indicative of a slide after relegation

One of those channels like "Dave", not sure what number it is. Does have a HD channel as well though. Just scanned through the planner until I found it.

Surprising! I would imagine a few to go out over the next few days - possibly dependent on who goes and comes in.

IE if Toby goes, CCV will stick around until he is replaced...

They still have the loan window - so I imagine there is no hurry

Big result for Wigan, just promoted. And Preston are one to watch, dark horses for automatic promotion IMO - Alex Neil has his feet under the table now and they looked very good at the end of last season.
