they focus on this, league games are training games for the proper football, they get those scrappy goals again and again and again and again, the mentality is incredible, they just win

It's an interesting one for sure - Real players stopped because of it, so you can argue he might not have scored had they played on, but it's still a big and consequential error from the refs. Would have been a big chance. Neuer also looked like he took the offside for granted for Real's second (wasn't the flag already up then?), so there's not that much separating those two situations in that regard - only that one was a goal and the other one not.
