pretty cool you can turn on the air con/heating from your phone but think he pays about £8/900 a month for it - way overpriced.

I can do that on my 2018 225xe. Lock the doors, open/close windows and or glass roof, sound the horn, flash the lights etc. Nothing new, but the Tesla app is much more responsive, and it works all the time, unlike most others. But everything else is just very meh. From shoddy paintwork to massive panel gaps, klonk noises from the suspension etc. The general quality is typical American. Not very good. Visually they're pretty bland too imo.
A big no for me is also that you can't get proper leather seats. How plastic is supposedly more environmental friendly than leather, is beyond me. The plastic (or vegan leather as they call it...) is impossible to repair. Proper leather is no problem to repair if you get tear it.

No such fancy tech on my Sportage, I think they get less complaints about all that stuff because people mostly lease them now. Probably lowers standards across the board.

Being able to tap your phone when the car is covered in snow, and then walk up to it and drive off in a fully thawed, warm, ready to go car, is neat. I have in my BMW estate, but only if it has battery charge. If the battery is empty (its a hybrid) this feature won't work!

Not everyone’s cup of tea I know but we loved the previous one and compared to the IX3 it drives so much nicer (although I know they are very different cars)
