Jesus. Danny Ings for Harry Kane...I’ve just seen the future. Couldn’t blame Kane for fudging off and have no idea how we begin to replace him but if it’s Ings, we’re back to 1990s mediocrity.
 
Yes, I'd take Vinicius over Ings (last fudging thing we need is another older player with an injury record, we know who that will work out)

The issue with Vinicius is
- He needs to get minutes
- We need to at least attempt to play to his strength (he's an in the box poacher)

Looked out for his depth badly
Good thing is his value goes down when he plays like tonight

Yes, when he came on tonight, he was playing in Dele's role, 10-15 yards behind Kane!!!

But he was brought on to play as the target man
That’s literally where he went too straight away
He did drift back, but that may be because he thought he could impact it more there but his first 5 minutes were as the 9

I don't see Ings starting over Kane ever. I also don't really see Kane and Ings playing together from the start. Unless the new man has an interest in playing 2 up top. Mourinho previously never has even when he's had 2 great strikers.

I can see Kane playing deeper like we have seen and the need for a CF on the pitch too
I also think if we signed the tight striker Kane would get more rest
Vinny hasn’t even been here a season yet and will take time to get comfortable here if at all
But a ready made, proven player is much easier to drop in
