Carabao Cup 24/25

Absolute joke, no need for it to be that time at all

Luckily there is no extra time in these games, even without out it fans living locally will not get home before at least 10.30. Many others will not get home till after midnight, good luck if you travel by train.

Looks nailed on to be Weds 18th Dec

We'll have to wait and see what they do. Wednesday would be natural with the Sunday-Saturday turnaround, but Palace play on Monday before they're supposed to meet Arsenal at the Emirates. They then play each other again in the league on Saturday. The easy solution would be to put Arsenal-Palace on Thursday and move their league match to Sunday. That also solves the problem of Arsenal's women's team being scheduled to use Emirates that Wednesday for a CL match.

Crickey, didn't realise that. Can't see a televised Sky game being moved to Sunday as the 2pm and 4.30pm slots are taken already?

It's a pickle.

I see they've now swapped Brighton-Palace from Monday to Sunday, but that doesn't really make much of a difference other than making West Ham play on a Monday two weeks in a row. What they need to do is make a similar swap the following weekend and move Fulham-Southampton to Saturday. Both matches are on Sky anyway.
