You said it. It is a GHod awful game but I'd though I'd tune in to see the new stadium. It is well attended today but it doesn't sound like the atmosphere is all that good. The football on show is not helping.
I noticed there are a huge amount of people standing on the lower tier. Visibility issues I guess. The gap around the pitch is huge!!

Reading the comments they have had licencing issues so it's been reduced to 57k, standing isn't allowed in the PL so they could get fined for it

They actually got a 3k increase last week from 54k to 57k. But got knocked back on the increase to 60k because of standing issues at the EL game.
They are desperate to get to the 60k mark (no doubt because they need to sell some market value seats while they have a chance), but with standing clearly visible today, it's unlikely that Newham will agree.
