They did a scheme where every season ticket holder got the chance to buy two more season tickets right beside them, presumably for friends or family. In theory it was good idea but they misunderestimated (thanks George) the take up, and now you have season ticket holders of 10-15 years being shunted way back to the top of the stand and many are furious.

Yep, I completely agree, if a bigger club makes a bid and he wants to leave, then there is not an awful lot we could do to stop him going. Would be exactly the same if a "proper" club, like, let's say, Leicester, came in for Harry Kane.
That is incredibly good value for a premier league team, all be it West Ham.
Especially good value when you consider there's a good chance it's their farewell to the Premier League season.
Even the Dildo Brothers haven't got the front to charge any more for those cheap seats.
