Bayern Munich have held discussions with former Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick about the head coach role, according to Sky Germany.
Rangnick and Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi are considered the top two candidates by the club.
Rangnick is currently the Austria head coach on a deal until after the 2026 World Cup.
This is after Julian Nagelsmann was the latest to turn them down, instead signing a long-term deal as Germany boss.
