Am I misunderstanding you? If you're saying he wouldn't have a rebuild at Bayern, that implies you think Liverpool need a rebuild. Klopp seems to have done a good job there (which is why his leaving is so surprising), so Alonso could build on that. Unless there is an efflux of players (the Saudi league may have passed peak interest), Liverpool seems a safer long-term bet than Bayern, who are usually much quicker to fire managers and seem to have some issues (it's probably not all Tuchel).

It would be funny to watch the response of Liverpool supporters if he chose Bayern.

The story is that Kane is one of the players behind Tuchel. At Spurs he was apparently one of two players who stayed behind Mourinho to the bitter end.

The lad is a model pro from everything I’ve seen bar his ill advised push to leave in 2021. Really unfair to call him cliquey.

No, you're saying that he is creating his own clique, nobody else is or believes that.
He will have those that are closer to him than others. He's more likely to build a friendship with the older members of the team that are married, settled down, and like a round of golf than those that are looking to go out on the pull and going to brick nightclubs. It's what happens in every line of work, nothing to do with forming cliques. That doesn't mean it's a clique that won't involve others.

There was talk they don't fancy Dier anymore and would probably sit him the rest of the season to avoid paying us €3m as part of the deal, but he started on the weekend so perhaps that's all just paper talk.
