Bryan Gil

Odd because I read in the BBC he has been gash in Spain

Sounds like he’d do a better job of helping Udogie out than Son at least.

…While Gil has not produced the expected output going forwards, he has shown more promise in another area of the pitch.

"A surprising development with Gil is that he has been more effective at the back," said Deb.

"His defensive statistics are outliers compared to other attacking wingers in the league. If you look at his numbers going forward, that has not really been good, but when he comes back to defend, he's one of the best in his position.

"That is the reason he still has a place in the team."

Shame he is weak as tinkle
Maybe he could become an inverted left back for us

Just in case we’re down to bare bones by January what with Richarlison seemingly perma-crocked and Werner recovering from groin injury whilst Son plus Mikey Moore are at opposite ends of their careers thus needing to manage their minutes accordingly.

Gil probably not cut out for PL of course but maybe worth recalling as a stop gap if Lange can’t rustle up anyone who can slot straight in, like Kulusevski once did.

Honestly
I think a child would be a better fit for us
Unless he has gone back to Spain and started exercising we don’t need him
For all the talent that he must have he never seems to grasp here that in the prem you have to have some strength in your game
