I wonder if we could deploy this guy as a more central midfielder eventually. Has a bit of Modric over him.

Like a David Silva type? That would be awesome. He's more attacking than Modric
But to answer your question, the hope/expectation in Spain (lot expected of him) is he will eventually play through the middle.
Wont know for a few yearsWhat do people think his best position is? Left attacking midfield? Right? Or in the midfield three?
At the moment I'd play him on the right of the front 3 (assuming Nuno is sticking with 433), Son-Kane-Gil.What do people think his best position is? Left attacking midfield? Right? Or in the midfield three?
Absolutely. Great intensity both when attacking and defending, but capable of slowing things down on the ball too. Can go past players with relative ease, in some situations at least. Good athlete, reasonably quick, obviously not the strongest, but kept running and working hard. Can strike a ball too.Lovely to watch and you can see where he'd headed as a player. Fine game.
Its a nice problem to have. With the right coach he could be a success in any of those positions within a system. And Nuno has had success establishing younger players, so...fingers crossed.?Where do we see him playing in the longer term. He was pretty much a left winger at his old team, but that area is owned by Son. Seems to have the potential to be a number 8 but we also lack a genuine goal threat or craft from RWF?
