That he scored his chance on Tuesday shows his determination. Really don't see why he's being picked on, everyone's been off form for 9 months apart from Porro and VdV as far as I can see. I remember he scored a last minute winner against someone last season and he had a similar bemused expression on his face to Wednesday. I share his bemusement, his numbers are good.

The rest don’t get targeted like himJohnson was picked on because julian timbre visibly dominated him throughout the arsenal game.
And his stats were really poor too, it just wasn't his night. (Ref allowed some rough handling too which favoured timbre)
not sure about the boos in the stadium, not clear on tv, but it seems johnson got it hard on social media - it doesn't he was the only one though.
On the rest of the internet - and here - there was criticism for , Cuti, Vicario, Son, Solanke and Maddison.
Maybe the rest are more experienced and didn't take it as hard as Johnson.
it doesn't help that he doesn't have a smug look tooThe rest don’t get targeted like him
Ah yes the sweeping statement that we all don’t need to be mentally stronger… that’s the difference between a top player and one that seems to need to be pandered toAh yes. The old “Man-up”, the solution to all men’s problems.
There’s nothing wrong with a bit of additional support if it helps a player do exactly what you want to see - using his talent and focusing. It’s in all our interests, shirley.

It was an excellent shift and shoot. He might not be able to beat his man but if he can make space for a shot and finish like he did today more often that's a top class quality to have.
Some Spurs fans are macaronic idiots (possibly with miserable lives) who feel better bullying young (rich and successful) players who don't score with every touch. He is a very good player who produces top level goal and assist numbers, I find it really weird how some Spurs fans don’t like him.
Great point Bullet, you really are a board heroAnd I guess that is the crux of the issue, if he is allowed space/transitions/quick ball then he is effective.
But with slow ball he is super ineffective, just like Son.
Every fan base has some of those unfortunately. Some Spurs fans are macaronic idiots (possibly with miserable lives) who feel better bullying young (rich and successful) players who don't score with every touch.
