Spot on. No fancy stuff, just solid and pretty reliable.IMO he's our Denis Irwin - unfashionable player as he's not at all flashy but is generally very solid and just gets on with his job.
Diolch, Ben!!

I feel the same way. But what is it that makes him seem not flashy I wonder? He does have 2 goals and 6 assists in 25 starts this season, after all!
Guess it's just that he doesn't really dribble or try and use skill? And is a little slow for a full-back?
I love him - he needs and deserves a song.
I totally agree.
But one of the things that irks me nowadays is that a player either has a song of their own or they have nothing.
And it can take ages for a specific song to take off ( look at Son and ‘Nice one Sonny’. It’s not even original but it’s taken 3 seasons).
What’s wrong with a simple round of “There’s only one <player name> ? Ok, it’s not inventive but it’s still singing a player’s name and has to be better than nothing.
(Which also makes me a bit nostalgic for those down times in games (usually while an injury was being treated) when the crowd would sing for player x to ‘give us a wave’).
Can anyone edit the ball out, and photoshop the ref more over to the right?
'Who do you think you are kidding Kieran Trippier' ?I would love to see Jurgen's old chant revived for Trippier.

I wish Davies would whip balls in more from the left flank rather than him cutting in field as he does quite often

I wish football players would listen to fans more often since they lack coaching and in game management xxx
